Trigonometry: For this project we got in partnerships. Once we had our partners we talked about what we wanted our protractor's to be made out of. Mitch was my partner and we decided to make a protractor out of cardboard and then we painted it pink and then painted the angles on top. Then once we had our protactor we got to go outside of the school and measure buildings and such things using our protractors. We calculated the information we had gotten and then after a week of construction and then another week of measuring we uploaded our pictures we had taken onto photoshop and created photos with the measurements and math we had done. Like the photo to the left.
Something I had learned from this is that taking time on things really pays off because when you take the time on something it makes it better. It doesn't seem as rushed and more neat. Since I realized that I work fast. Also I think working in partnerships really helps because you both could be working on the same project but different things for it getting things done faster. Also something from this project I learned is that I am horrible with photoshop and all the computer things. I just stuck to the math part of this project because I actually understand how to do that.
