In spanish class we get frases de la semana or in other words Phrases of the week. We are given this phrase and then what we do with it is create an image with the phrase on top of it. We get three critiques on the image that we make and fix those critiques if we feel like they were good critiques. Then we make a final copy of the image and turn it in.
After doing this work this semester I find it helpful. It makes it easier for me to comprehend what the phrases in spanish mean. When I think of a phrase that we had been given in spanish I picture the image I made and then it makes me realize what that phrase is stating or asking. The pictures don't have to be super complex just simple and it is helpful.

The picture to the left is of a Spanish project I had made. We were given groups by Andrea our Spanish teacher. My group that I was put in was with Myles, Ryan Tatianna and I. We were given papers that had guidelines we had to follow for our games we were going to create in Spanish. So after reading it over our group collaborated and came up with ideas for what we wanted our game to be. I suggested the game Guess Who and my partners seemed to really like that idea. So we made our game called Adivina Quien since the game was made in Spanish class and had to be made in Spanish. We took images of class mates for our game pieces instead of using the people the game originally came with. We also made separate pieces of paper with questions in Spanish people can read off.
I learned that making many critiques and revisions with this game really helped to make our final project to look much better. We had also made small prototypes before the final product was finished, which I believe really helped benefit our final product to look more professional and give it more of a finished look. We had painted the box and what I learned is to never paint right before lunch unless you plan to stay in. The reason I say this is because we mixed colors to make a certain blue and we had left for lunch and came back and the blue we had made was all dry making it hard to get the right shade of blue again.
