Did your semester go the way you had imagined? Why or why not
This semester didn't go as planned for me because the projects were different. I feel like some of these projects could have been shorter, or the groups we had chosen to be put into would have been inclusive. Also I felt that having freshmen in class with us wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I feel like in my previeous school years my teachers at least made an efort to gain a connection with us and get to know us. I feel like this year that didn't happen and it made it harder for me to want to share my opinion and also harder to just come up and talk to them.
List and elaborate on at least three areas of personal growth.
Some personal growth I feel that I have done this school semester was trying new things, even if my friends weren't going to choose that. Being more indipendant I feel like is also an improvement I gained this year, because we couldn't rely on our teachers to tell us what we need to do, although I like when they do tell us here and there to give us an extra boost because I know for a lot of kids had troubl undertsanding what we needed to do. Lastly I made new friendships and also became closer with friends. This I feel helped me because I feel it gives you more of an open mindset rather then a closed off mindset.
Did you accomplish or move closer to accomplishing any goals you had at the beginning of the semester? If so, explain how, if not, explain why.
Yes I feel like this semester I did more closer to my goal which was to be able to focus better. I feel like I have grown in this way because I know in past school years I ould yell things out and not focus at all and I feel I have gotten some what better.
State and describe two goals for next semester. One in an area of personal growth and one in an area of academic growth. Additionally, very specifically explain how you plan to accomplish them.
Academically I would like to be able to try new things and not based on what friends are doing but what I really want to do. I plan on accomplishing this by seeing what choices I have and choose which sounds best to me and go for that rather than what my friends are doing. Then personally I hope to be able to get back into a gymnastics gym. I plan on doing this one by lowly working my nkle back up into the things I use to do, such as running, back handsprings, back tucks, etc. Did you engage in our project and the work that surrounded it to the best of your ability? If yes, cite and explain examples, if no, reflect on why that was, and what could have been done differently to get you to engage
I tried to apply myself as much as I could but I felt left out a lot of the time because they said to help someone who would tell me they don't need help, or they would tell Molly and I we could do something and end up not using it. So Molly and I constantly tried to help but I guess we weren't really wanted. So yes I think so because I did try to help and I presistantly asked what I could do.
If you could design and execute your own semester, your own project, what would it be and why? What would you hope others would learn from it?
A project I would like to do it photography I really like photography even though I still could learn a lot. I would hope that others would learn about lighting and angels and the kind of things that will effect the shot you want.
What feedback do you have for us, Andrew and Adam? How could the project have been better? How could our individual classes have been better?
I liked how we did split classes a bit, I like note taking for Andrew. I was hoping to learn better ways to write good essays. I feel like maybe the rocket project was a little long and dragged out. Also I thing getting a personal relation with students will help a lot.
